I know that sometime in the past someone has posted this info, but I haven't found it. What is the recommended plug gap for a Champion ql77cc plug in a 2001 280? Also, does any one else build a plug that replaces the Champion, that might be better.
Thank for any input or info.

NGK number is BR8HS and you should find the price to be $3 max. Unless your dealer is jacking up the price. NGK as compared to the champions in the NGK is less prone to fouling in my 99-280. BTW how you like the 280? Mine has 117 hours on it without any problems.

Thanks for the replys. I have only 40 hrs on the 280ss, but it does idle much better than the old 260. I am still trying to get over 7200 rpm. As bad as the plugs looked, I am sure that the new plugs have to help. These looked as bad as the ones did the first time I tried a tunnel ram on my old drag car, long long ago.:D
