Some good news for a change!

Well it seem's like every once and awhile there are some things to smile about, take for example the trial of a man by the name of Storer that was robbed at gunpoint (firearm held to his head) and after the robbery when the scum bag took off fleeing, Mr. Storer got in his car and ran him down killing the peice of $hit. Thanks to our beloved justice system Mr. Storer was charged with manslaughter and faced 25 years if found guilty. My hat goes off to the jury finding Mr. Storer not guilty. Here's a link to the story giving a few more details. Oh and by the way the robber had served time in prison for armed robbery and a host of other crimes, as well as being classified a career criminal. Mr. Storer I believe is of white/asian decent while the armed robber was black, which many people (liberal's) tried to paint the killing as a hate crime...Anyway congratulations to the jury for the right verdict.

Here's another story about a dirtball with a different ending. This just happened within the last week:

A guy who I went to high school with had a sister a couple of years older than us. She was riding her bike on a bike trail in Atlanta last week, and a repeat sex offender who'd only been out of prison after a 10 year stint for less than a week raped and murdered her. These people were a close nit family. The murdered woman had been married to the same man her whole adult life, had several kids, and was active in church and charity activities.

If there was any silver lining to the story here it is: This piece of crap who never should have been let out apparently tried to force her to sodomize him. (remember this is PG limited here, so I ain't gonna say what I'm really thinkin' about it) She supposedly bit him "there" causing a VERY SIGNIFICANT injury requiring emergency room treatment for extreme loss of blood. He got home and called his mother to take him to the hospital, claiming that he'd been assaulted by a hooker. A day later when an exhaustive manhunt discovered the woman's body, the mother did the right thing and called the police to report her suspicions. This guy lived a very short distance from the nature trail where the body was found. The local rumor mill, which is the source of the information on the injury and resulting catching of the suspect says that they have DNA and tooth pattern evidence absolutely defining the suspect. The DA has on TV said they'll likely seek the death penalty.
