I'm going to have my powerhead shipped from JSRE in Texas to me in Florida. Just wandering if anyone could give me some input as to whose the best company to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.:)

I've had good luck with Unishippers @ 1 800 323 5441 I talk to Chris Parks @ ext. 1267 he's been fair on shipping costs. The last 3 motors that left here this week going to west coast areas ( 2 Washington and 1 AZ ) used FED EX I didn't know they, FED EX , shipped freight of over 150 LBS but I was suprised when they showed up in a FED EX truck and the customers have been pleased with the rates. I finished a motor at noon today called the customer and by 3:00PM they were here loaded and heading to Ozark , Ark. Most of the time when you use most freight companys they are 2 days just getting the details worked out to head out here for the pick up. Might give FED EX a call and check them out...
FYI: Don't tell them ( Any carrier ) its a motor they have issues with fuels and oils being in the engines ( Tree huggers ya know ) I just tell them its engine parts...
Good luck,

Ask Eric Simon. That is the only service he uses. He shipped mine via DHL and it arrived safe and the customer service was excellent.

DHL recently went to a max weight of 150lbs. My powerhead and crate, less heads-intake-flywheel-exhaust divider plate was 167lbs.
I ended up using FreightQoute.
