12' Laser - any experiences???

Hey- Does anyone have experience with a 12' Laser? Is it a 35 MPH toy like the Mini-Hawk or can it do 50-60 mph with the right setup?

was a local dealer and his dad had one with I think a 50 or so HP Suzuki. (just sold it)
Never saw it run but he said low 50's.
Would be a hoot with a 3 cyl OMC, Yammi, Tohatsu etc.
Probably get it into high 60's to 70 if set up right.
