trim pump questions?? How 'bout some help

I have filled and cycled the trim system as I am supposed to but, After the boat sits for a week the system acts as if it has air in it again.
I can then run the system through a full range of motion 1 time and then again it is fine for the whole day.
Anybody have any advise for me,
