Buddy has 2006 520 Ranger with 225 Yamaha that keeps sticking in forward. Has hot foot. First time he took back to dealer they said clip came out of shift cable end, second time said needed cable adjustment, now it has done same thing for the 3rd time and this time we disconnected main battery because of hot electric smelt. Shifter moves forward but wo`nt move back to neutral and shift interupt switch is on making motor idle rough. Tried to pull back to neutral, felt like I was going to break something, really stuck. has done this all 3 times after unloading boat in reverse and then shifting to forward.
