Has anyone tried a 5 blade Merc Maximus on an OB?

Maximus is very heavy, perhaps too much mass for the outboard gearcase. They are designed for stepped V's and cats with mega power and torque. The rule of thumb for these props is that you reduce the pitch 4" on the Maximus vs. a Bravo One or Mirage Plus to achieve the same RPM. Maybe a 300X on a light boat jacked to the moon?:rolleyes:
