2.4 One Piece Apdat. To 2.5

Have A 2.4 One Piece Apdat. Plate. What Needs To Be Done To It To Run A 2.5 260 Powerhead. Going On Second Block Was Told Something Need To Be Done Were It Would Cool Powerhead Right? First Block Would Blow Head Gaskets Around # 5 & 6 After About 4 To 5 Hours.

There should be no problem running your 2.5 block on a 2.4 adapter plate a long as the exhaust ports match up. I have a 2.4 plate on my 260 and it runs great. The 2.4 plate actually lets the motor run just a little bit warmer than the 2.5 plate which dumps water a little to fast. I have never know anyone who has had problems with the 2.4 plate on a 2.5 260.

My dad had a 2.4 200 that was just replaced by a 2.5 225 promax, the exhaust opening in the adapter plate had to be opened up a little to line up with the exhaust outlet on the 2.5
