Merc 700x

I`am wondering how much a 700x could be worth without the speedmaster and if there is a way to get a speedmaster for such a merc.

Hi Michael, not really sure what they are worth , but they used a 13/16 ratio super speedmaster usually with a single pinion and you could probably use a twin pinion gearbox, some twisters used this gearbox and should be available,however the drive shaft splines are different.

The part numbers for the 700-X SSM lower units are: 13:16 right hand 1624-5820A7; 14:15 right hand, 1624-5820A6; 1:1 right hand, 1624-5820A5.
I hope you can possibly get some of the older dealers or racers to check their old stock for one of these numbers. Good luck!!!
