Missing or No Title, Boat is out of state!

Have a problem that maybe some of you all have some answers too?

Im in the middle of a Purchase of a 1992 26 Velocity thourobred summer squal, is an ex-race boat. Its an out of state purchase and I live in Florida. The Problem is the boat does not have a title, its never been registered. How do I go about getting title or certificate of orgine or even registration numbers. Although the boat does have A legit HIN.

The boat is project boat for sure, no interior, no motors, ect...

Anybody have any Ideas or know-how...

Any Info would be much appreciated..

A few months back I bought a boat from GA that did not have a title. All NC needed was a notarized bill of sale from the seller and me. Check w/ your local DMV. This happens all the time.

I don't think you will need anything more than a bill of sale but a call to DMV would be in order.Ga. boats don't have titles and all i needed was a bill of sale and registration.Since your boat isn't registered I believe you won't have a problem.They should issue you a title and reg.:cool:
