prop shaft

any one know why my prop shaft lets my prop rub the washer nut.instaled the dogculch both ways.washer nut tighened to 200lbs torqe.sport master lu I would need 3/16'' for prop to work .all hubed and weed eater choppers rub.I have to run two trush washers to keep from rubbing

the prop is rubbing the COVER nut? u need to ck taper on shaft. if it was run with loose prop nut the thrust washer can spin on shaft and possible has worn taper down. it would have to be worn badly but i guess anything is possible
proper shaft? how about proper carrier? what changed to cause you to look at l/unit to start with?

Is it a stock LU or does it have a blowout ring welded on? Did you install the washer on the reverse gear?
