Hello..

Here i post some pictures of my old ride..

It is an european version of the Ford Escort..

Its an 1985 ford Escort MK4 XR3i ... 115++ horsepowers ..


I sold this car becouse it was beeing very rusty.. it was sad to sell it..

One day i wanna buy a new mK4 escort , but than it scould be an original rst , an be non-rusty ,
and than i want to have the hole Cosworth-illution kit on it, see the pix down on te page..

I want to hear your opinnion about my old car , and the plans on a new car

Cossies are cool! We don't see stuff like that here. The last euro Ford to be sold here was the XR4Ti It had the 2.3L EFI turbo motor. Ford's infinite wisdom sold it right beside SVO Mustangs and Thunderbird Turbo Coupes. The little euro car didn't get much attention next to established U.S. models. There's still quite a cult following of Merkurs and some folks are even importing some of the Cosworth Sierra stuff over here.

On a personal note. I never liked the Bi-wing. I thought it was gaudy. It looked silly on the SVO and didn't fit the styling of the XR4Ti.

What motor is that? It looks like a 1.9L pushrod motor.
