Like your rod. Is it going thru a rebuild or is it a new project? I have a 37 Ford street rod that I have been driving for 29 years. We have been to 18 states in the last 8 years and so far it has never let us down. The last two years we have been pulling an Airstream trailer behind it on some of our trips. Next year we plan to take the trailer to the West Yellowstone rod run and make the Noxville Sprintcar nationals on the way back.
I have lots of pictures but haven't figured out how to post them yet.

Streamer you have a fine looking ride and the factory air still works too! I always liked the three window 35's, especially the standard's grille and short wheel base.

Hot rods are my main hobby. I'm just getting back into boating/skiing after a 15 year hiatus. Both are tons of fun.

My '34 Ford currently under construction...
111731

My '40 Ford and my Dad's '34 Ford...
111730

My '49 Chevy pickup...
111729

I have several others in line to build after the '34 is done. It's always a tough decision whether to work on the rods or head for the lake!

Yes I towed it to the lake many times....It was the best of both worlds....Now if I could only tow the Skater with the motorcycle!!!

Hey 76Eliminator!!!
What frame is your '49 Chebby sitting on? An S10?
I'm trying to decide what to do with my '50 which is bone stock right now, right down to the 216 cubic inch monster between the frame rails!

The frame is a '54 with Mustang II front and a 9" rear on S10 leaf springs with 2" lowering blocks. If you go the Mustang II route, I recommend stock height spindles. I initially used 2" dropped spindles and it was way too low. Looked great, but ~50% of driveways scraped my bumper. Here's a good site with info on the S10 frame swap: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=5 Lots of guys seem to be doing this swap. Good luck with her!

Nice! I like the blower. My Dad has a deuce highboy roadster with a naturally aspirated mild small block and it's quick. With a blown small block I'll bet she really moves!
