My budy has a small prop it measures 13 3/4 by 23, looking at it on each blade by the hub it has the # 3 on it, and then the nummber on the hub, like 400008, then on the hub its got "pendigrass" scratched on it. What kinda prop is this, I'm new to these props, looks kinda like my big ear chopper, but smaller, could it be a Yamaha?????

13.75 x 23... Hmmm, sounds like a V-4 SRX or the predecessor called a Streaker... How many splines, maybe 13..?

it fits a 1984 mercury v6 150 and 200

I guess that rules out the V-4 theory:D ... The 23" pitch on and over the hub is kinda throwing me off a little, maybe post a pic if possible..

I was going to say the V-4 SRX also, but I don't know all the props out there. It may have been rehubbed for a V-6 and that could be why it fitst he 15 spline Merc.

I got to thinking about the #3 that is stamped on the base of the blades, an OMC Streaker has those exact markings... I with RON V, probably an SRX -Streaker that has a Merc hub..

well would that be a good prop, I know when its put on it has to have a thicklocking spacer to make the nut go butt up against it....

Are you saying that the hub of the prob is shorter than the length of the propshaft splines..? Are you using a thrustwasher behind the prop..?
