 Does anyone know what the fuel capacity is for an early 90's 21' Superboat? Superboat's website lists the new 21's at 60 gallons. Not sure if anything has changed in that regard over the years.

Thanks for the info. Now, if I could only find the sending unit. I opened up a hole between the inner liner and hull and still can't locate the !@# thing! First boat I ever owned that doesn't have access for sender replacement.

Ahhhhhh,, lets see, the tank measures 24" wide (you can see the two sides of the tank at the very back, under the rear seat. the sending unit should be in the middle, 44" up,,,

I had a real serious problem with my '78 24' SUPERBOAT I/O, in the pickup tube in the tank there WAS a s/s little real fine screen. Get it outta there put in a decent inline filter, before the fuel pump. Boat would shut off, leave it sit then would start & run again.
A friend with a 77, kept getting water in the tank, gas vent openings were turned the wrong way.

 Is that 44" from the rear of the tank? I found "something" on the top of the tank in the center about 35-36" from where the inner liner begins just forward of the fuel pickups. Drilled a small hole through the floor and can see what "Might" be the edge of a sending unit. There is some sort of rubber type material but the hole is small and I don't want to increase it in size until I'm sure.

Yes! I had already drilled a small hole directly above the pickup. The drawing confirmed I was originally correct. Thanks again!
