I need to know what the lenght is supost to be,from the bottom of the gear case to the bottom of the skeg on a SM gear case.Mine was ground down when I bought it. Also how would this efect my boat at high speed.Ive had it to low 90's,havent had any problems.When ever one of you good old boys gets the chance would you mesure yours and let me know.I think its 1/2 to 3/4 short,,,,,,,,, hmmmm where have I heard that before
