View Full Version : Prop repair or another wall decoration.
I bought a used Yami Drag prop , CHEEP. I new it had a small weld.. I sent it out to be tuned for my boat . The prop shop sent it back. Said they couldn’t alter the pitch.
I need a miracle. Can anybody recommend a prop shop that can work this prop.

How much change did you want? Usually they can't change it more than 2 inches in pitch.
The prop is a 24p.Apparently 2in.(making it a 26p.) of pitch was added of witch I was not informed by the seller. I wanted 1in. of pitch removed to make it a 23p. The blades were thinned also. The prop shop was afraid of more cracks and welding.

Can't blame them for that. They don't want the liabilities. Although, I have run welded blades before with no problems and I welded them. :eek:
