The search isnt working and i know this was covered on here before. What causes 35lb and climbing water pressure? popett valve or something like that? where is it and how do you fix.

Stuck T-stat is what did it to me. Pegged a 30lb gauge. If you have thermostats thats where i would start. Mike

If you have a steel sleeve motor you need to run T-Stats, may be poppet or some obstruction like gravel, pebbles or aquatic vegitation that is crudded up your water system. An obstruction of flow is the only thing that will cause HIGH water pressure....

The poppet is on the side of the block below the switchbox plate.
It has a hose and a 90 comming out of it.
It could be your problem.
Take it off. Clean it and see if it's sticking.
Its probebly the popet or a blockage in the exhaust adapter plate.
