Yeah, I actually had to stop and look at it while I was editing photos. Nice to see it back on the water, but it's somewhat strange not to see you in it!

What a ball we had a great time .....even with a few broken parts a winged prop and a fly wheel literally!!!! I think that this is the first year we all got back from the dam run ( a little wounded but we all got back)

Maureen could you forward any pics of the Skater to me they're the only pics I have of it.....like Greg any pics I had where on my camera in Fla now there at some cheap ass pawn shop :(

I was lucky enough to get a ride in Eric's turbine boat on Sunday. I must say that it was awesome. It accelerates hard with the 27 pitch trophy on there.

Its running great. Have not pushed it that hard yet but Got 82 out of it with me and a passenger and 40 gallons of fuel. Still had more to go just taking it easy.

i'm not sure if this idea has been brought up yet, every rondak romp thread has about 1000 posts and that is way too many to go through. I recognize many of the boats from past Conn. River Runs and ya know how they pass around a sign in clip board where you fill out some personal info (name, boat/motor info, contact info) and then Rich will post it, usually here. That way you can go through the list to put some names with boats, or if you want to contact them for set up info and ideas. Is there any chance this could be done at future Romps if it isn't done already???

If I have said it once I've said it 1,000,000 times...the Romp is when it is so we can go boating. It is before school gets out. It is before the lake gets destroyed every day by 11 am. It is a boating event, not a beach bash. You can come up anytime you want but I will not invite people up to spend a weekend busting the bottom out of their boat. On top of that I do not control the weahter. We moved it off Father's Day this year and now it's going to be muggy and high 80's.

Yeah I know that would have made my summer! maybe if your at the CT river run we can hook up somewhere. Its my fault though we had to be back by 4:00 and we were cuttin it close...I cant beleive that we missed the dinner too!:mad: We went out for a rip but when we came back to camp everyone was already gone and then we got lost. I always have bad luck.
Im trying to work on a new boat for next year maybe a HST or elliminator. My buddy is dead set on getting a activator like phastboats. we'll see ya soon buddy.

Right click on it, a window will open, click "save picture as", another window will open, name it avatar or something and save it to "my pictures". It will now be in your computer.
Open your User CP (control panel) on Scream and Fly, click change avatar, and follow instructions to insert the new pic from your computer.

Or if ya want, PM me your password and I'll sign into your account and post it for you. Or, I could put a larger pic in your signature like mine.

No thanks necessary. The hospitality provided by you, David and the rest of your family, bringing all those crazies together at the Romp, was the most enjoyable 3 days I've had in quite a few years. If you recall, your email was what convinced me to come. My only dissapointment of the weekend was missing the dam run, but a little miscue at the ramp made that unavoidable. I know Maureen really wanted to demonstrate her expertise at getting those flake pics.:D
