I bought a 91 20vee bullet and this prop came on it. I know its a 29 Spinelli but I was wondering if somebody knew anything about it. I dont like the way the prop handles. I was also wondering what would be a good prop for this boat. Its got a 93 2.5 245hp w/ stock cle gearcase and 9inch setback.
Thanks, Bobby

I would try a 29 DR4 Spinelli, i run a 29,30 and 31 Spinelli DR4. I don't beleive that the 3 blade is the right prop for your boat. If you would like to sell the prop in the pics please let me know. Its a Spinelli DR3. The DR4 is the 4 blade.

Those are actually good props on a Bullet, especially a 20V that has less weight in the front of the boat.
The DR4 would probably be better with a full load but running light I would think the DR3 would be faster.
It may not be the prop causing the handling problems.
My guess is that its your cle gearcase. They don't work well on Bullets. You need to have a nose cone put on over the factory cresent. This will really improve the handling of the boat. It will probably increase your top end significantly also.
Get a hold of Paul Nichols, he is the best there is with Bullet boats. He can really help you alot better than us guys who have never driven a 20V.

The Spinelli's are great props and both work well on your rig.
The 3 blade is faster when light loaded, the DR4 will carry more weight and have less steering torque, better handling. You may have the motor a tad high for that prop and until you are used to the boat it will be harder to drive. Also if its a side steer Bullet, try some weight in the front port side , the boat is probably coming up on that side at higher speeds. Paul is great, also Ronnie or Steve at Lawerenceburg Marine in Lburg TN are excellent. Adding a nosecone is another very good idea. Also cutting your skeg back to a 200hp shape will help a bit. You have a very nice combo for go fast fishing. :D

not really interested in selling it at the moment, but i probably will soon!i actually bought the boat from steve at lawrenceburg marine! i asked him about the cle on a bullet and he said no problems,im not going there, because i know they wont work on a allison.I have never met paul nichols but from what i read he is the bullet man!If he was not so far I would have it there in the morning!i plan to send lower to titus this winter,i was just trying to ride a little faster till then!motor is 1 inch over pad!where should it be with this combination?plenty of water pressure, thanks bobby

Spinellis like to ride high. I'm 1 1/4 over the pad with my DR4's. 1" is plenty, your boat should be knockin set up like that. The reason i say that the DR4 is better on your boat is because it carries a load better and if you fish or carry passengers it will be a better all around prop.

about your 4 blade spinnelli, does it have the name stamped in the barrel? i have a 26 p dr 3 blade that has the name that way, SPINNELLI BROS, rochester, ny. but the 4 blade does not. it looks similar to the 3, but doesnt say "spinnelli" anywhere on it. top of the barrel says 14 1/2x 30 ss. 3 blade says 14 1/2 26 dr. i ran the 3 blade and you guys are right, great running prop. i need a little more pitch though. thanks....

I have never seen a DR4 that says Spinelli on it. Only the DR3 say Spinelli. All my Spinelli's say 14 1/2 x pitch and ss on them.

My DR-4 has "Spinelli Bros" or something similar engraved. I have seen it engraved with an engraver but not the Spinelli Bros. stamp on the side.

150 is right the Spinelli is a fast prop, and i figure a 27 trophy would carry your bullet pretty good.

How would a 29" go on my Euro. Moved the motor back in to 8" out and 1" up. Or whats the best prop I should be aiming for? Have the 29" spinelli but may want to swap. Sorry to hijack!!!!!!

i believe the DR4 Spinelli would work good for ya. I don't think the 3 blade would run as good as the 4 blade.

The CLE probally isn't the best lower unit for the speeds you get out of that boat.
