this one came from the weekend, although he had a mishap he still had fun and i'm glad he stayed, he gave me a tip for a screamtoon but so did one of his FRIENDS, he is a trooper, and no matter whats thrown his way he keeps on truckin' and my hat's off to him for that!! and his friends are sorry it happened!!

:D THE GOOD NEWS IS I TOOK THE HEAD OFF YESTERDAY. SPENT ABOUT 2HRS CLEANING WHAT WAS LEFT OF THE PISTON OFF THE CYLINDER WALL. SO FAR SO GOOD, CYLINDER LOOKS GOOD SO FAR. PISTON,RINGS,GASKET KIT& NEW JETS FOR THE CARBS. THAT WAY I CAN TAKE OFF/PLUG THAT F@!KING OIL INJECTION. IF ANYBODY HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE SOME INFO WOULD BE NICE. THANKS AGIAN FOR THE TOON SKIP

not sure about the yamaha oil injection removal though :rolleyes: but if someone can give us the skinny on that we can kick butt on it

The oil injection on the Yammy is the almost identical setup
on the Omc's.

Did the system fail ?????

I think the buzzer that says "Yo dumbass I need oil!!" failed, and he ended up running out of oil if I remember correctly. I've drank and slept since then so I may be thinking of someone else.:D

When the Fly began it had a Suzy on it with an annoying red light and buzzer that was always going off. I stuck a piston and fixed the buzzing.

xtreme, take the oil tank under the hood and punt it into your neighbors yard so his dog can mangle it beyond reuse. just in case you have second thoughts about oil injection delete.
take tank out of boat, remove all oil lines from boat, and under small tank in cowl. im sure you will find a crack in small tank or one of the oil lines. the tank emptying that fast it has to have a massive leak. i would remove pump, pull drive out from under pump and reinstall pump. that way you do not worry about fabing up block off plate for pump. you can either pull injection fittings and plug or leave em in plase and plug hoses. remove all oil related wiring to defeat alarm. course yours has deleated itself already!! the ones i have done were all on bass boats and were not run over 6200-6500 rpms so rejetting not an issue. premix at 40-1 with good synthetic oil. if you feel you must rejet just do a plug ck by top end key chop to read plugs.
premix is so much better and you are sure of oil mix. poss you may have oil pump problems now.
