Don't want to mortgage the house for lifeline, saw a nice Mercury vest in Chris's boat this weekend at the alligator get together. Its a normanl looking vest but it has a neck support on it, any leads out there?:cool:

There was a guy on Barneys site trying to get together a "group buy" 50 off list... but I am not sure if enough interest was shown. I am in the market also, But figure boat need to be done first, then 6 hours of break in time will be slow going.

Those jackets are designed for workers that fall off a oil rig. Not exactly what I would call a high impact crash vest. I assume that a 24' Skater capable of 100+ runs needs more than that. You need the straps between the legs also. I have bought some $100 +- jackets that are high impact. They are hanging in my garage. I only use the the Lifelines at all times, now more than ever after the HTM thing.

avalible @ overtons.com for $43.00 built for the wet jet crowd
no neck support
made to withstand 100mph impact but not rated for personal injury
basicaly if you hit something at 100mph they dont say you will live but at least you will float.
are the lifelines rated for personal injury?

Just bought a lifeline made for what we do had it on dis weekend
really comfortable not bulky cost 275 shipping and all looks sharp
