91 Octane Ok? for 300 Pro Max

Guys,

Can I use 91 Octane in my 300 Pro Max without serious damage to my motor? I am having a lot of trouble finding 92 octane on the lakes I play. Thanks!

Hi!

I have by a mistake run my Promax 300 on 95RON in Norway for 125 hours under impression that 95 octane in Norway was better than 92 posted octan rating in US. This is equivalent to 90 in US. The main office for Merc in Europe told me yesterday that no harm will happen as long you do not do waterskiing, WOT for extended time, etc. But I will swap to 98RON, equivalent to 92 US. I am not shure if 91 US vs 92 US will harm your engine, most likely not since Merc in Europe (Belgium)told me that 90 would be fine.
