I'm sure some of you have been watching this auction on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hydrostream-VISA_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ63685QQitemZ4637386453QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
I checked it today and bids were cancelled, and under the bidding history he states that the boat was stolen.

Did anyone here actually see him in possesion of that boat? I know a few people here talked to the guy but he probably never ever had it.

But why would he do that since he had a reserve on it?

Was the reserve met? Maybe he changed his mind and wanted more than what his reserve was set for.

I still cant understand all the hype over this boat, to me it is ugly... Sure its one of a kind... and its obvious to me... after all the people that know it well explained that this hull is a POS, even if it was produced, it probably still wouldn't run well... Tell this guy he doesn't have a collectors item because nobody cares! He thinks hes sitting on gold, hes sitting on a bunch of old fiberglass and rotting wood, which consist of 15 year old ideas, and construction techniques, which obviously weren't good enough then. 10K, I'd give him less than 1K lol, I think whoever pays this man more than 5k is a sucker, and I don't want to hear their sad story...
however... interested to see how this all works out...
I see he said the boat has sat outside for 4 months and has always been inside... looks much more faded than 4 months worth of sun... also seems like if someone had a 10k gem sitting in their lawn they would spend 40 bucks on a tarp to cover up that gold mine!
