New Hampshire Hot Boat Hang Out????

A few have asked if I am going to do the HBHO at lake Sunapee again?? I didn't do it last year ( I was Boatless??? ) but a few have asked??

I'm still undecided but if I'm going to do it I better put it out there and see what I get for input?? I haven't picked a date or done much of anything but I'm ,hopefully, going to the Romp and will ask around about what people want at a gathering?? Any input would be great and I learned from the last one and am following along with Liqui_fly's ( daves) Romp which seems to work well???

Another Option is to find someplace else in Northern NE any ideas??

I guess I just trying to find out How many of us want to have another gathering When,Where,and How Many?? If it's going to be an Event or if there is just going to be a few of us getting together on the weekend ???

I will be at whatever gatherings I can make it to. I tend to have very limited time on the weekends but if I know in advance I can try to schedual work around it... Work in AM early and again after going boating:(

You make it sound better than it is;) I own a tent rental company so thur-sun are my busy days with saturday being the least busy. If it is a light weekend I can get a few hours of free time on saturday, if it is a busy weekend.... My employee record is 112 hours on the clock... they work less than me:eek: The up side is I pretty much have nov-april OFF.

Give me some advance notice so I can plan it and I will be there. Sunapee was a lot of fun. September dates wont work for me though , still got one kid in school... his last year... hopefully ! How bout' the week of the 4th in July ? A lot of people take that week off and it might be a good plan most , usually good weather too.

Yes, If it was work I could absolutely go. I was actually planning on bringing the boat to Newfound lake this saturday to look at a jobsite but the weather is going to stink.

well cottage is staight acroos when your leaveing mt. next to state beach.....
I think we should start looking at dates weekend of august 24-27 is out along with labor day weekend ( the next week)

Maybe the weekend of the 18-20??? of August???? I'll need to check if any thing else is happening I don't want to conflict with any other events??

Most any weekend as long as its before school starts I'm in. Yeah the cottage is real easy to find and the lake is nice. Makes some good chop for the cat to FLY real nice in...:D :D :D

I stayed in a Hotel up there once, we were doing a Bass tournament on the Kennebec river. I forget the name of the motel. I really liked that section of the river! Maybe I'll make it back there one of these days?

The date will be August 18-20 So check your cal and get back to me with when you are coming so I can check with hotels to get a better rate..... Best western gave me a group rate of $159 a night but I think I can do better than that at local Inns???

Any Ideas of what you would like at the gathering let me know and I can work on them to make a fun Gathering!!

I think the "Lakes Region" is the Sebago area, that's where we hang out in the summer. Eustis in the winter, that's just north of Rangeley.

Reason I asked is that this state is full of lakes and having lived here a long time I never heard of any specific area called lakes region. I've been useless in Eustis enough times...:p

Three is a motel a half mile away, the Romah, not sure of availability. If you don't mind setting up a small tent for a weekend I'll talk with my friend that owns the marina, I'm sure for a very nominal fee he'd put you in a slip and let you pitch a tent.

Next weekend July 21, 22, 23 would be a good weekend, 4 or 5 boats from our dock are headed to Winni for a week. But just give me a heads up and I will do what I can. I'm going to Eustis one of these weekends, never been on Rangely lake in the summer.

I wont be able to make it. Planned a trip to fun town with the G/F & her daughter this weekend. Looks like I will probably be staying close to home for the remainder of this season, right now it looks like every weekend is taken up because of preparation needed for school starting soon. It gets tough for me to be away around this time of the year but a day trip might work for me.

best place to put in is at he State beach plenty of parking and the cottage is just on the other side of the breakwater when you launch......

call me before you get there (Cell service sucks on this side of the lake), exit 9 off 89 north turn right go about 15 miles you'll be running along side the lake about 2 miles before you get to the rotary first right into state beach/launch

I have a new trim pump on the way so Friday night the boat will be ready. I have some work on Sat but it will be done around noon which puts me there around 2 or so. It will be nice to see another fast boat... I havn't bumped into a single fast boat since I have had the Viper, 55 tops:(
