Why do you need another filter after the Bosch pump?

How many microns is the water/separating filter.

i am not sure about the filter but i thimk i read in bass and walleye that they are around 15 microns might be 20. i know a racor had the smallest rating though. i would still run a filter after the pump in case the pump comes apart and each injector has a filter in it at least the stock engs do and i am pretty sure the hipo engs do to. i dont get to mess with the hi performance engs much were a stock dealer. not many people want a 2.5 on there 22 foot pathfinder. i would like to see the new 200 2.5 optimax on one though nah i would rather have a 2.5 280 hp!!!
