These are pics of the action i bought, the bottom is perfect its nice and straight, i took out the rollers and added a 9ft pressure treated wood and carpeted so i wont screw up the bottom, rollers will leave bumps on the bottom. i sent it out to do the floor, transom, stringers, and cover all the holes the boat had, now im sanding it down and getting it ready for painting...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v669/preppboy/P1010060.jpg

That's a peculiar looking boat. Concept did build 17' actions for a short while, but they had the snub-nose. The bow of yours looks like an 18 or 19. The transom looks similar to the old 16 and 17. Very interesting.:confused:

You should have no problem reaching 80+, even with a mild 200. Definately use a jackplate with some decent set-back. And don't get frustrated when you wash the rubrail the first few times out.

Well... they are good running hulls. I think the main reason everyone goes with a solid color is #1 its easy, and #2 the lines of the hull make it look awesome in a single color.

Mine is going to be something sweet... not 100% sure how I'm laying the colors yet.

Jim , Most of the Actions are still in south fl. Not many of them seemed to leave the area. When you take any other v bottom down south seems most people think there actions also .They are legendary performance boats down there , and rightfully so .With places like the Marine stadium and Elliot Key bringing these boats out in force ever weekend back in there day. Most of the one that you hear of up north have come out of New England area in the past few years .Just an opservation from growing up in the Miami area . Rich Martin 018:cool:
