HELP, Computer network problem

I have 3 computers networked together. From the master and slave #2 I can work on the hard drives of slave #1. I can't see or access the hard drives on slave #2 from the master. Also, slave #2 cannot connect to the network, or internet unless slave #1 is on. I can get on the internet with slave #2 through the master, but when I go to disconnect network drive on slave #2 it says I'm not connected. Also get error # 733 when dialing out.:confused: All 3 are xp, master is media center edition.

Are you on a wired or wireless network? Going through a hub or switch? I know XP has that function where you set one of the computers up then it asks if you want to make a setup disk for the other computers, try that? Another thing to check would be that all the computers are on the same workgroup. Beyond that, check to see that your firewall settings within XP are allowing communication within your local network. Hope this helps a little.
