Here's one I never heard of or saw on Hydrostream.org, a Hydrostream on eBay the guy claims is a one off, non production hull from 1989. It has an HSP starting serial number. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4637386453&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1
wow , very rare boat . i remember reading about that years ago .
that looks like the boat hydrostream had in the marketing pictures . it may be a true one of a kind

It does sound like a very rare boat. I wonder why they never put any into production. Did they find something out that they never told anybody about. Maybe a very heavy ill handling boat. I see they recomend HP from 150-350. Didn't know they made a 350HP outboard in 89'.

I see were they offered it in a twin outboard also. I guess that is why they say 350HP. Can't imagine that with a 150 on it. It wouldn't get out of it's own way with one of those on there.
From what I recall from one of the other threads about it, the photos on the IHR were taken with an OMC 175 on the back with a V8 cowl strapped to it, just for the catalog photos. That thing is probably pretty heavy, and it will need twins to get anybody off...

Here's how NOT awake I was when logging on and seeing the topic headline...
I thought that Hydrostream was announcing their new "Hydrostream VISA CARD" and getting one would transfer "MILES" towards a NEW Hydrostream.
Not a bad idea.... Just shows how my mind was thinking when I woke up. AND I am disappointed that I cannot have yet another card to put miles on for ANOTHER Boat!!!
Have a GREAT Day... I'm going back to sleep now!
**UPDATE** If Hydrostream does do this... I want 2% of all transactions for coming up with the idea! LOL!! Or a free boat, whichever is more badass!!!

It's funny that you said that because I was thinking the same thing when I saw the title.

The Hydrostream Visa project of 89-90 was scrapped for various reasons, mostly because the new (at the time) Hydrostream Mastercard handled better and was accepted. I know there's a pic somewhere.

the owner is pat dourthy and i offered him 1500 and he refused it.. greg opffered 2K and he refused it... now he is tryin Ebay to sell it... needs about 6K or more to repair to even be runnable and safe... figure 10 just to have a boat you can power.... and being that it is a one and only hull there is no way to really enforce if its worth that or not.... prestine and perfect with new core and new dash and new everything i could see it being worth the investment but it would take a while.... i love projects but even that was to much to consider..he made mension of wanting 10K or more for it a few months ago...
