2.4:

Reed attaching screws - 25 inch/lbs
Reed Cage to Reed Block Housing - 60 inch/lbs

2.5:

Reed attaching screws - 25 inch/lbs
Reed Cage to Reed Plate - 120 inch/lbs (apply Loctite 271 to threads)

Note: Torque is in INCH POUNDS not FOOT POUNDS!!!!!!!

These figures from the Mercury Factory Service Manuals. Get one, they are essential.
