this summer? I've been shmoozing the idea of holding a "real" hotboat meet at the park on Foote this year. I got rid of my invader but still have a bare hull that needs a BUNCH of work if you want it you can have it.

Mine was/is a 69 (both of them) no windsheild. Sold it because, well compared to my streams it handled like a p.o.s. , slow and like to stick it's nose in the air at will into the wind. If you want my other one you can have it, totally gutted needs a transom, coring(?) stringers and a major bottom blue-print. Hey, nice prop, that looks famillar!:)

A buddy of mine has a seebee avenger 15 here in Delaware it is a sharp looking boat. I like the older designs and yours is a classic. What kind of speed and how does it handle? Rick

Hi Rick,It will run low to mid 60s with a little chine walk i dont know how much speed it will take but future plans are to put a 225 merc on it should be a wild ride.

KG4 I like your style I have a 16 ft sidewinder with a 235 Evinrude. With a built up v-4 I ran around 70-71 but ride was so wild had to back off. I have totally gutted the boat and now have center steer and mods to the bottom are being done now. One thing about the older hulls you have to drive them unlike a tunnel. Later Rick

I think the center steering will help alot thats probably what i am going to do when i put the 225 on it.

Hi Capt. The 1500 in the pic is the one i plan on putting on my invader.Do you think it is too much for the invader?Mine is center steering i will have to run a setback plate for height adjustmant.Any tips on how yours was setup will be appreciated. Thanks for the offer on the boat but i have a 15ft ebko semi tunnel that needs totall restoration and the wife said no more boats what does she know. Thanks

Mine was 350 lbs. when I was done with it. Turned a 30p chopper just about 6200. I would make the pad wider. Had some very near blow overs, well more like blow arounds ( bow goes up and the stern starts coming around.) I never tried any cleavers . I used a 15 in mid also, land & sea cone and torque tab. I took the motor off and rigged it with a 1964 65 merc and sold it to a buddy for his teenage son. Being I like my 'streams I did'nt spend a bunch of time with it. It was actually more fun with the 65 'cause it would turn much quicker. Just make sure transom is up to the 1500. I would try making the pad wider for sure. I took my 1500 and put it on a 15' Fiberglass Starcraft American, a gramps like boat. That's what I use for fishing and scaring guys in bass boats.:D When the bow comes up and the boat starts to wobble it's a wild ride. It hooked on me once and blasted me into the side, damn near rolled out of the boat. I run 215 horses on a viper (before N2o:p ) , not much ruffles my feathers, but that boat did. Make the pad wider, and the motor MUST HAVE ALL SOLID MOUNTS. I think a cable/ pulley steering with wing plates is the way to go for steering. Have fun and be safe man.
