Looks a little like a Sleekcraft. "Sidewinder" was also the name of another boat company.

The deck looks like a Sidewinder Low Pro 16 with a squared -off transom and maybe a stretch.

Um, he knows who made it. He's just trying to figure out the model.

It is a Marlin Skier. Had the identical boat! Wish I still had it but the transom was shot. I had a 150GT on it and was only rated for a 110 or 120. Very fun stable boat which responded well to power.

Take care,

SutPhil is right. Marlin "Knocked Off" the Sidewinder Low Pro and squared off the transom.
Sidewinders were brilliantly designed boats including the "Super Sidewinder" About 20 other boat manufacturers thought so as well (ie: Marlin) and ripped off the design. Unfortunately Sidewinder met its demise in 1990.

Go over to the Tahiti thread and get the real history. Glastron -> Tahiti -> Sidewinder -> the others ... It's well documented that Tahiti had the splash before Sidewinder even existed. Sidewinder did the Lo-Pro deck arrangement though :)
