DDT Reports...

Had my engines DDT scanned today and they showed in 140 hours of use they had hit the limiter 1500 times... of the 140, 10 Hours was at full, most was idleing or just above, I hadn't seen one of these before so found it quite interesting. When you break it down thats 150 times in an hour or nearly 3 times a minute...

What are some other readouts from other people's motors??

I have heard that a center engine on a triple rig cat has been know to hit the limiter 700-800 times in a 2 hour race...

That is a lot of hits on the limiter.. Are they over reving at holeshot?? The first time I saw my DDT report I was very surprised that the majority of the time was at low rpm's and very little on the top end... Have had several motors like that now, guess I don't drive em hard enough.. LOL,, Louis

They were raced twice, I think that is where the majority of the "hits" came from, Also the limiter is 6100rpm, and I believe the engines want to make power over that...
