Has anyone seen a really fast jet ski or jet ski boat ? I think maybe brucato has the ski with the merc 2.5 under the seat that hauls ass. But anyone seen a swap in a jet ski boat ? Or a really fast jet ski boat....

On any of the boats powered by the 2.5L or 3.0L Mercury Sportjet engines a Drag or 300X would be an easy swap.

I've got a SeaRay F16R with a 175 Merc Sportjet in it and I absolutely love it. It ain't a rough water boat, but it's fun as hell. It'll spin like a PWC and ride 4 people. I've been thinkin' about buyin' a Sportjet crank (different spline in the bottom) and stickin' it in a 260 powerhead and puttin' it in there.

Just seems like it would be fun.....You got any pics ? Plus Puttin a 260 on it would make it fly, plus the acceleration..........A nice sleeper.

Would the impeller hold that much power ?

you'd probably be breaking parts like crazy, plus will the pump be able to pull and push as much water as it is going to try? Keep the outboard... Im not a fan of jet boats at all

Somebody on here a while back had a Jet Ski with a Merc V-6 in it..... It was said to flat haul azzz.....100mph or better I think...
I think Eric Simon has a Sand Rail with a V-6 Merc stuck in it,,, there was even a video of it pulling high mph wheelies in it roosting sand like a mad dog !
Anybody know about these ?

I hate those lake lice wana be boats. You need to rethink before doing something crazy like getting rid of your boat for one of those turds.

Why doesn't the girlfriend like your boat? If it's not fast enough for her just put some more HP on it untill it is.

When I brought mine home my girlfriend about flew off the handle. The boat was about 5 different colors, no interior, no floor, dash full of holes, 2 holes in the hull that had been patched all sitting on a rusty trailer. But now 2 years later she loves all the attention she gets riding around in it.
