Has anyone been running a drag motor repaired by Ruck. I have a good buy on one and just wondering how they hold up a 10800 rpms. I'm talking about a block that has kicked out a rod. I have a friend that has one that kicked out a rod at the # 6 block half and he has been running it for 2 years and no problems. Has anyone else had good luck with them. later Larry D:confused:

Larry

One of my drags has been to Ruck and is as good as ever NOW, I will run it all this year on my 10sec bracket boat, he has also fixed my 260 on my Ally GSE with zero problems. Hope this gives you some piece of mind.

Jim Ruck can heal the sick and raise the dead when it comes to "glueing" back together an ailing block that has has a projectile thrown through it !

You have nothing to worry about Larry, if Jim says it can be repaired it will be OK , go to the bank with it !

My opinion !

Top notch. He will never fix anything 1/2 right, its always done right and the motor will spin up just like before the repair. No need to worry about running it hard. His welder is top notch as well and so is Jim's wife. His prices are very reasonable too. Great guy!;)
