Dave and I went for his maiden voyage in his 21 SKater with twin 2.5's. That is one very fast boat. I think he could run with any STV or Allison with a drag motor. We were running about 110 and he had throttle left in the boat!

Be careful on the lower river. Lot's of debris floating from the high water. We ran a log over at 90 mph. Thank goodness it went done the center of the tunnel. We both felt it clunk the tunnel floor. Not a scratch on the props. :)

Good to see Dave got the boat out and running.

I was up on the Chain today and there was a fair amount of junk, some of it large, floating around up there. Pistakee had the worst of it.

Took shelter under the bridge by the entrance to Pistaqua Heights while I waited to see where the one thunderstorm was heading. Saw one lightning bolt up near the state park but it passed after a few minutes. Horrible weather and water for running today. Calm and muggy.

Dave, It looks great and the pink is so YOU!!!;) A run off with you and Mason would be interesting. Jeff sold that 21 Skater to him before I rode in it. Don't remember what he said it ran.

Thanks for posting pictures, Brad. This thing definitely rips!!! I will be the first to admit, that it will take some time to get used to it. The water was glass so the boat gets kinda squirly around 70 or so. I really want to take it in some chop. I'm probably gonna take it out after work today and play around. Thanks again guys, Later, Dave

Clyde, I drove Jeffs Skater at 118 mph before he owned it. So I know that thing rips real well too! I know the pink on the boat is'nt the greatest, but the more people make fun of it, the more I like it. Like I said before, I'm gonna get a Joe Dirt wig and a Whitesnake concert shirt, and go cruisin'. Welcome to the 80's man. Later, Dave

No problem Clyde, I've been hearing it from everyone. I'm pretty sensitive you know. The only part I don't like is that heartbeat of Chevrolet Line on the sides of the deck. Other than that it is'nt too bad. Later, Dave

Who cares what color it is, that thing is stupid fast!!!!

I saw that boat in person, it is probably one of the three cleanest and most original 21s left in existence! It's a rare rare boat, one of the 7 or 8 ever built for twins too.

Keep it nice Dave and enjoy!

Looking good Dave. Can't wait to see it in person. Hate to see the motion go but that is a damn good replacement.

Take Care

Thanks for all the compliments! The wife is'nt too happy about tw boats right now but, you guys know how it is....when the right boat comes along, you have to jump on it! The only thing, as far as handling, is the boat does not like to be driven at around 25-30 mph. It seems to want to kind of wallow side to side. I'll get used to it though. Just a little bit more seat time and I'll have this figured out.
Mercdrag...I fully intend on coming to Hardy Dam at least once or twice this year. Later, Dave

I don't think driving it at 25-30 mph is going to be a big problem south of the McHenry dam. :D
