Need to upgrade my trailer rims and tires. I need to lose the white "Steelie Dans" and go aluminum or at least chrome. What are you guys running? What tire size? I have to redo the steps and fenders so tire size is still up in the air.

Thanks Mike

Don't follow the automobile trend of really big wheels w/a short series tire, the sidewalls will beat the hell out of your hull... In my experiance a chrome wheel will end up rusting... I have best luck with a good aluminum wheel that has a good clear coat... Do not use Castrol Super Clean to clean em', it'll eat the clear coat off and then chalk the Aluminum... I've been sold for years on Simple Green, cleans most anything with no known side-effects by Me...

BTW, those are 15 x 8's with 215/75/15 Carlisle trailer tires.

I want to make these so I can submerge them in salt water.

I'm not really into the big rims on a trailer. I like the looks of your setup Keith. I have been eyeing up these on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-14-Aluminum-Wheels-Spoke-Star-Trailer-Rims-Rim_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ50071QQitemZ4630163951QQrdZ1
