Hey Bob, I still remember riding in your Laser. That was a really cool boat.

Apparently the outboard world is a bit smaller than i thought. The laser 21 I just bought is the same one that nyseguy had and sold. it still has the 225 with the mod vp cowl. gonna have a little fun with it and will probably sell it. Any laser folks let me know if their interested. Thanks for the info S&F and nyseguy JWS

JWS- please post some pic's of the boat. I sold it for $4,000- ridiculous price. I would be interested in it again. Was the transom ever replaced? It had a pretty decent crack in it. Please let me know what you are thinking about doing with it. -Bob

Even smaller world - I owned that 225 powerhead and Mod-VP cowl many years ago.:)

Moundsville- west virginia, that's where the guy lived who I sold it to. When I was delivering the boat I blew a bearing at 75 mph in New Jersey- the worst trailering day of my life. It cost $400 and I was lucky enough to find someone on a sunday morning to fix it.

Where did you find it for sale and how much did you pay? At one time between popping powerheads and such I had so much money in that boat I couldn't take it anymore! I am just wondering what the new owner did to it? I am interested in buying it back so let me know.

It will handle the chop better than your Hydrostream- it was a fun boat but I could never get it to fly right. With the 225 I saw mid 70's.

Here are some pic's I still have. Keep me posted....Bob
