My delta needs work, again, and I'm thinking its time to upgrade. I was reading the local classifieds, and found an ad for an 18' hydrostream with a 175 v6 merc, trailer, prop, for $2500. Says its got a new floor and transom in 04'. Its says the interior needs "upgrading" (aka needs a new interior). I was thinking this is a decent price if the transom and floor were done right. Probably would need a core down the line, but maybe I would get away with it for this summer, then over the winter redo the core and go to a bigger power plant. There was one for sale in the same town this summer, and I beleive it is this one. Looked to be ok driving by it. Is there anything specific to this model I should know about when I go to look at it? Was it a decent performing hull? Any problem areas with them? And finally, anything to know about these v6's that I should check out?
Seems like a really good price for a running Hydrostream. Valero has the same bottom as a Vking. If you are not interested in it could you pass the contact info for it along to me? A friend of mine is looking for a good deal on a Stream.Thanks.

I passed by and its gone:( I'm gonna call to make sure. Knew I should have jumped on it right away:eek:
EDIT: Yup it sold, maybe your buddy got it :)
Nope, don't think my friend is really serious about getting a boat. Offered him my Vector to buy but he doesn't like the feeling of driving on the edge in a small v-bottom. Might be interested in selling my Vector with or without power, interested???
