Weathermen SUCK

I could have gone out and gone fishing today, but NO!!!!!!!!!, the stupid we need something exciting to cover weathermen all said we would be slammed at 2pm today.

What's worse, all the schools let out early based on this complete and utter BS these guys spew. Then they changed and said it would be here at 6pm, now its sometime tonight.

Why can't they just get up there and say, we don't know what the heck is going to happen, it might rain, it might not.

That is why, when that F5 tornado came through, no one paid them any mind. And I really want to know how they know there is a tornado in the dark? And whats better, they actually send mobile weather crews out to where they think it is.

Here you go, we think this is an F5 tornado, drive out there and check.

I am so sick of sirens going off for non threatening weather, if its not hailing soft ball sized hail, if the wind isnt over 80 mph, if there isn't a tornado coming, don't turn the things on.

Oh and we still haven't gotten the rain. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

The Weathermen have been discustingly inaccurate around here for about the last 3 years especially, all except for the forcasted temperatures... The prediction for precipitation is an absolute lost cause, even when they haven't a doubt... I have had countless frustrating days ruined by not going to the lake due to warnings of weather that never materialized, many days to the point of it being almost comical... I don't even give the local weather update a consideration before going now... If I feel like going, I just get my stuff together and go... The local weather forcasting around here is more comparable to a horiscope or palmreading..

I gotta disagree with you. I own a tent rental company. When they forcast the "chance of rain" my phone rings. More often than not they are wrong and I don't have to work in the rain or deal with wet tents.
They suck at their job.... but they are good for mine!:D
