Greg- "OK guys I'll launch it if you promise to hold it" :D LOL

It's like a kid learning to cycle with his dad and uncle holding him up.

I can't help thinking what that boat will be worth in 30 years:eek: It's Gregs pension:cool:

The bottom of the hull probably has about 17 generous coats of wax, so the the gel isn't actually coming in contact with the water:) ... I used to be like that with my old super cherry '92 notchback 5.0, it lived mostly in the garage... It got to where I didn't even like the garage door raised for fear of element exposure, and I would only wash it when the sun wasn't out... That all changed when it got hailed one real good time at my parents house in TX... It cried for help out there on the driveway, but the golf-ball sized hail punked me out out after about 15 seconds of heroic effort... I know how you feel Greg...

Marie, nah - I have to take too much photo/video gear with me. :)

Joe - I cleared some PMs... I had to increase my PM inbox capacity to 750. LOL!

I know the REAL truth.
Greg hired a crane barge to haul the boat out to that location and drop it in the water just long enough to get the pic then pull it back out of the water and hastily use a flamethrower to both kill anything alive attaching itself to the hull and dry it off in one easy operation then run it back and drop it on the trailer nice and safe from that mean old nasty smelly dirty water :)

One word................BUSTED

You mean that thing really can burn gas:rolleyes:

And it does run after all:eek:

It runs, but it won't idle. The injectors are so bad from sitting forever. This month I'm sending them to Tony Brucato to be cleaned and flow tested. After that, I install the PCU and SVS I have waiting for it.

Al, we were one of the first to run the PCU (http://www.screamandfly.com/home/evaluations/brucato_pcu_part_2/pcu_part_2_1.htm) in extended testing (as you know). As you already know, that PCU is an amazing and a quite mandatory upgrade for any 2.4 and 2.5 EFI engine. We've been running the SVS for years too - another amazing product. We owe a lot of our accomplishments with the STV to Tony and Linda.

I cannot speak highly enough of Tony and Linda. They are incredible people.
