Thinking of getting the aqua rod frame kit.Anyone here ever build this boat?Its a cool looking old school tunnel.Any info on this boat is appreciated.Thanks

...they've been in the same location, about 5 miles from where I live, since the 1950s. The Aquarod is pretty old school, but should be a good hull. Clark Craft emerged from the old Custom Craft firm who operated in the late City of Black Rock back in the 1950s, before the city was destroyed by the evil City of Buffalo and the State of New York, who stuck Interstate 190 right thru the main street of Black Rock. Clark Craft operates out of the old Custom Craft plant, squeezed between the I-190 and the Niagara River. Custom Craft built some really neat high performance cats, tri-hulls, and what would now be termed a tunnel hull decades ahead of their time, so the present firm has lots of prior history in this end of the business. Watching a 17' Custom Craft cat fly with twin MK75-78 Mercs was a familiar site here in Western New York for many years. I've never heard any complaints about Clark Craft's designs or kits, and I expect that you'll be quite happy with the results.
