Check out that web page....lots of cool toys. How is Yamaha pricing compared the Mercs for blocks and cranks?

Ralphy it's a matter of what you can buy stock and as far as that goes, OPC and Yamaha couldn't hold Mercury's jockstrap.

All the goodies out there these days has got me thinking only about blocks cranks and rods though. So if Merc's 2.5 stuff is going to go through the roof, I will gladly seek an alternative.

but it's safe to say they can't be any higher than the Mercree stuff...

Not to mention it lasts longer and you won't be juuuuuust like every other fast boat on teh lake.

Congrats on HT joining the site as a sponsor.

If Mercury had balls of steel like Evinrude and Yamaha they would not need a jockstrap!

Cool!!
I have been to there shop a couple of years ago. I got to tour the whole place and see all the Yammy stuff. I was impressed to see how much they did there. I even got to check out their race boats. They were running a motor on the dyno at the time I was there. The yammy was putting out over 300 hp on the dyno.
