Prop for Laser 380

I am putting new pistons bearings etc in my 1987 200 Merc on a 1984 Laser 380. I am also cutting the heads a little.

I have never ran this boat as the motor was week when i got it. It has a 26 chooper on it now. but I know where I can get an SRX27 for 200.00.

Does anyone know how a 27srx works on this boat?
