89 135 hp Merc What liter size? 2.0 or 2.4

1989 Mercury 135 hp Serial Number C219137, not sure of liter size.

Is it a 2.0 liter powerhead or a 2.4 liter powerhead

Are these bolt patterns interchangble for midsection or adapter plate

Is the 2.0 adapter plate the same as a 2.4 adapter plate?

I thank it would be a 2.0, but the only shure way ta no iz to pop tha head off and look at it...Sum heads have the diameter wrote on tha head, but sum don't...Tha bolt pattern iz tha same...the only differnce in tha adaptor plate is tha 2.0 haz larger exhaust holes...Yea, 2.0 exhaust iz bigger than tha 2.4!!!...REX

OK one question.

If you use a 2.4 block on a 2.0l exhaust (bigger) midsection, would it help get more HP ??
