I spent a few hours with chuck last week. he's doing good. he is a great guy to bs with and doesnt mind helping folks and sharing his knowledge. I'll tell him to stop back in when he has the time.

True enough, i was blown away when I first came to this site like so many others for help. No idea what was wrong with my motor and some guy I never even met said he would stop by and fix it for me. I came to find out skip is just that kind of guy- do anything for anyone, and give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. People like that are what makes this site different and he really set a great tone for what this addiction/sport/hobby is all about. Definitely our loss that he is not around as much.

yeah i guess they did come from real events like the safer boating in the jaccuzzi tub, that came from the crazy 4th of july weekend on the st. johns river where people were getting in accidents and the idiots were out in full swing

one i can think of that was just a joke was the head shaving one at the barber shop

but most all of them spawned from real things that happened somewhere along the line

Your funny Heath!! No mercury will ever hang off the transome of one of my boats!! But then again you never know!!! My degree is in business and I'm taking accelerated courses so I will have my dgree in 9 months instead of 2 years. As far as a boat goes I'm really interested in a quartshot Jack is building some really nice boats. ;)

Wow I havn't seen any of those, there great. I forgot Skip's turn as a cartoonist.:D

Had dinner with Skip and Wendy in Gatlinburg this last weekend, There both happy mountain folk now. I don't blame them it's beautiful up there. Then drove to SW Missouri and froze my A** off and remembered why I moved to Florida.
