yamaha ignition conversion

I was wondring if any one has done one?
do you use the yamaha pulse coils(ie timmer base)
or the omc timmer base.
I have a 1986 120 looper , and just aquired an ignition from
an 1986 yamaha v4..
what all is envolved..any advice would be appreciated.

Kottman uses the complete igniton system from the Yamaha including timer base. There is a fair amount of precision machine work involved to make everything work. It has worked extremly well when compete. 636-338-4080 is his number. Best to call early like 7:30 central time.
