I can almost, sorta, kinda, maybe see light at the end of the tunnel!
Just finished the first coat of primer on the bottom of the Vector.
If all goes well, I stay motivated, and don't get too stoned from paint fumes, the bottom should be BRIGHT FREAKIN YELLOW by Sunday!
Hey Sleek, what the hell are you doing working on that thing??
Did'nt we have a talk about that??
Push that damn thing out in a field and forget it for a while!!
Lets get that rocket boat together!
P.S. did you get a letter from me a few days ago??
Give me a call tomorrow and let me know whats going on.

Yeah I got the letter. Been meaning to call you, but been swamped! Had to focus on work to pay for the toys, and maybe some food....We'll talk, but I got the message. I need to remove the wiring harness from the Sleek if I'm going to hook-up the Vindicator to the Vector. The 2 spare harnesses I have are for the older OMC plug.

I still want to go w/ a Monty motor on the Vector, eventually. But I also want the Sleek ready to rock for the Summer which means getting it ready now b/c you know how projects go, always take more time than anticipated.

I have a line on a shifter for the Vector, but the guy has to find it. The recessed kind. I prefer it over the surface mount. I also need to send out my 30p chopper and have it blue printed. It needs a lot of tlc. I tried to use Great Stuff and plastic as packing material after seeing the box you sent me for the block. But I made a mess of the box by not letting it set long enough. Got to try again.

If I run the Vindicator on the Vector, I need to get another 20" shaft for my other lower w/ the nose cone/lwpu. Running at speed w/ that much lower in the water...well, let's just say I don't want to go there. And knowing me, Flying the Vector will be a temptation. I remember doing a break-in of a 25" looper on the V-King, pushed a little to hard on the throttle - oh baby oh, used up some karma on that. Learned a contributing cause of chine walking.

I'll call you.
