power head studs

I,m putting longer studs in my powerhead to mount it on an offshore leg. Do i need to put loctite on the course threads that go into the powerhead?

Yes,I would locktite them in.They come that way from the factory. hf...

You don't need longer studs just to go to an offshore midsection. The powerhead bolts to the exhaust plate and that bolts to the midsection.

If he's going to a newer style mid,he will need at least two more of them longer.I changed both of mine out last year to offshores. hf...
