View Full Version : Water Found On One Of Saturns Moons
or so Rush stated that Drudge claims on his web site! :D Seems he got the scoop from someone inside NASA and their's going to be some news of it at 2 pm. I wonder if it's a result of Solar Warming. :D

Looks like they found 2 more rings around Uranus......
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10574903/from/RL.2/
And it seems "Nobody had a clue the rings were there"
And also that "the discoveries mean Uranus has a densely packed, rapidly changing, and possibly unstable dynamical system"
Seriously....just read
I just don't see why they are so interested in Uranus......

if water even exists in liquid form at 300 below zero... last i checked that was ice..
Makes you wonder, we can send space craft to other planets yet in some parts of the world people live in ignorance of the solar system and other things that we take for granted. Reminds me of the movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy".

It should really remind you of that movie..

That all depends on vapor pressure and atmospheric pressure....
You can make water boil at 32 degrees and make it freeze at 200......
It is all in the math.
I hoped somebody would like that old joke...It was begging for this thread.

"Absolute Zero", speaking of cold! I don't think there's such a temp as atoms never stop moving, which means that the temp. hasn't bottomed out, as far as we know.

STV, your right, I'm in the energy systems field and people don't realise stuff like "laten Heat" and all the other facts. Anything could happen out there, we still don't understand fire. We know what needed, Fuel, Heat, and Ox but are at a loss to explain how the atoms from the carbon and Ox make the reaction.

Glad to hear someone agree for once......
There are plenty on here that don't really have too technical of a mind, but yet love to opine or debate laws of science.

Yet there are some that go to college to study engineering that I've seen they to fit square peg into round hole when it comes to common sense boiler operations.
